I have never been a big bologna eater myself. At least not in the last 20 years or so. Today as I was getting out the bologna for Natalie, I noticed the first ingredient is "mechanically separated chicken." No thanks.
Don't you just love how many 'foods' we eat aren't really even foods at all? I'm beginning to wonder whether all the increases in various diseases aren't caused almost solely by the lack of any actual plant or animal matter being left in our foods after processing. Nothing like taking out all the whole nutrients to keep things from rotting and then replacing them with synthetic pseudo-foods. If it wasn't so darn expensive I'd totally be an all organic, whole foods only Mom. Save the world, eat a real chicken!
